We are physician innovators and problem-solvers working together to improve access to high quality pediatric care for families and to create opportunities for physicians across Montana to collaborate. Our goal is to make the world better for everyone who cares for Montana’s children.
The MT Pediatrics Team
Chelsea Bodnar, MD, MPhil
Chelsea is a Montanan and a pediatrician. (You may notice this is a theme here!). She lives in Missoula with her husband and three kiddos. Her career has been fueled by a belief that in service to the youngest members of our community we can and must always strive to do better. She is a relentless optimist and unrelenting advocate for the power of collaboration.
Alice Laverdiere, PT, MS, ATP/SMS
Alice is a pediatric physical therapist and an assistive technology professional by training who was raised with the philosophy that giving provides more benefits in life than taking. A passionate innovator herself, she is the chief problem solver as she supports the children, families and providers of our Montana Pediatrics ecosystem. Alice lives in Missoula with her husband – and while her boys are grown and apparently on their own, she has been seen with a granddaughter or granddog in the background on more than one occasion.
Anna has called Missoula home for over five years. She received her BS at Iowa State University and worked in the finance and business management worlds before joining Montana Pediatrics. Anna wears many hats as she provides support so our pediatricians can focus on being present for Montana’s children and take on new challenges. She is an avid outdoors enthusiast and loves to cook. She and her pup Ginkgo can be found walking around the community or running around on the trails.
Allison Young, MD
Allison is a pediatrician, momma, wife, runner and activist. She has been serving the children of western MT as a member of Missoula Valley Pediatrics since 2010. Her career has been defined by excellence in the care of her patients and the pursuit of improved resources for the families in her care. She has held state-wide positions in the MT AAP and has taken the lead in helping Montana Pediatrics offer continuing medical education opportunities for our providers as we innovate together.
Sarah Holexa, MD, EdD
Sarah is a pediatric hospitalist with a passion for care coordination and children with medical complexity. She lives with her 5 chickens, 1 rooster, 1 dog, 2 children, and 1 husband in Missoula. She was the force behind growing the Ahana technology platform to embrace shared care planning and is now a proud leader in bringing a Montana team to learn in the Care Coordination Academy.
