Type 1 Diabetes Support
Thanks to the generosity of the Leona M and Harry B Helmsley Charitable Trust, we are working hand-in-hand with families and healthcare providers to develop practical solutions to increase support and care for children who have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
Introducing the MyCare app!
Technology has come to play a large role in the care of type 1 diabetes. By partnering with families, healthcare providers, technology developers, and data analysts, we’re looking to bring the best-in-class tools to Montana to better understand diabetes care and create an interconnected network among all members of a child’s care team.

Supporting Kids at School
In response to hearing from families loud and clear how nerve-racking it can be to send a child with T1D off to school, we launched an education series for school nurses and school health personnel called Diabetes in School Health (DiSH). We have connected with more than 100 school nurses across the state are will be expanding this work to include additional school health personnel, teachers, and coaches. Our goal is to ensure all school staff across the state are educated, confident, and comfortable caring for students with Type 1.Please click here to see each DiSH sessions recap and videos and sign up for more information.
