As fellows of the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars program, we are working to use an innovative telemedicine platform to improve access to high quality pediatric care for Montana families through an innovative collaboration between Montana pediatricians. Through collaboration and telemedicine we believe we can support the state’s current pediatric workforce and improve equity of healthcare delivery in Montana. By integrating the model into our network’s existing practices we will improve the Culture of Health for children and also strengthen the pediatric medical home. The scale of a collaborative community of providers will allow us to do together what we can’t do alone: improve equity of access to quality pediatrics, build support for practicing pediatricians, and alleviate strain caused by physician shortage.
